Sporting News puts Friars among its Futile Four for 2010-11 season

The PC Friars are one of four teams cited by The Sporting News' Mike DeCourcy as being among the least likely to improve their fortunes in the coming college basketball season. Here's what DeCourcy has to say about the inexperienced Friars team:
"The Friars lost five of their top seven players, roughly two-thirds of their production. Coach Keno Davis took over a veteran team lst year that was a factor in the Big East, but now he'll attempt to rebuild in the nation's most imposing conference."
Rouding out DeCourcy's Futile Four are USC, Marquette and Memphis.
