PC rolls Merrimack, 97-74

PROVIDENCE - The Providence Friars have just finished polishing off the Warriors of Merrimack College, 97-74, at Alumni Hall.

Marshon Brooks led the Friars with 33 points. Sharaud Curry added 15 and 6 assists and Bilal Dixon looked sharp inside with 16 points and 15 rebounds.

PC led 48-39 at the half despite committing 19 fouls and letting the Warriors score 19 free throws. The Friars played a better second half and tore away for the win.

The game attracted 2,017 fans.
