PROVIDENCE - It's hot - very hot and humid - here at Alumni Hall and the Providence Friars are in the process of putting away Merrimack College in a men's basketball exhibition game.
The Friars jumped out to a 48-39 halftime lead despite letting the visitors score 19 points from the free throw line. Marshon Brooks has 30 points to lead all scorers.
It's 76-61 with 7:50 to play. More when the game is over.
