Odom, Kardashian wedding is this weekend

-- Former University of Rhode Island basketball star Lamar Odom, 29, is getting married to reality television star Khloe Karadashian after less than a month of dating. Kardashian, 25, confirmed the marriage via her Twitter account, stating: "OK dolls...the rumors are true." The marriage is scheduled for this Sunday. TMZ is reporting that Odom's batchelor party will be hosted by Joe Francis, the creator of the "Girls Gone Wild" videos. TMZ is also reporting that the wedding was Odom's idea. Odom agreed to a four-year contract to stay with the Lakers this summer after helping the team win the NBA title in June. He has two children, daughter Destiny and son Lamar Jr., from a previous relationship. His other son, Jayden, was 7 months old when he died in his crib in 2006. -ROBERT LEE
