The URI basketball team has prospered much of this season on 3-point shooting, but the outside shot is badly hurting the Rams today in its regular-season finale against Massachusetts. The Minutemen lead 41-37 at the half. The difference is what has happened behind the arc. UMass is 7-for-13 on 3-pointers. Sophomore Matt Glass, who averages 3.2 points, has 13 points, including going 3-for-3 on 3-pointers. Rhode Island is 0-for-12 behind the arc. Jimmy Baron, who needs wo to become the all-time leader in the A-10, is 0-for-5. Lamonte Ulmer leads the Rams with 10.
