Paul talks about Saturday's senior day festivities, the best and worst potential first-round matchups for URI in the Atlantic 10 tournament, and the frustrating struggles of UMass, the Rams' opponent on Saturday.
Here's who Paul said the Rams want to play next week in the first round, and who they don't want to play:
"I don't think there's any doubt that the team that everybody's picked up on as the evil villain is St. Joseph's [because of the comments by Phil Martelli and Joe Lunardi seeming to diminish URI's NCAA Tournament candidacy]. ... Everybody's kind of picked up, saying this would be great bulletin-board material and we would love to get a chance to show St. Joseph's just how good we are. ... I think [Duquesne] would be the toughest match, as we just saw last week [when] the two teams played a great game going down to the final seconds that URI won by two. They're very similar types of teams -- they get up and down. It would be a great game on its own, not to mention the fact that when you're playing three or four nights in a row, to have two teams push each other as hard as those two would would not only make for a good show, but would maybe weaken the surviving team for the next night."
