PROVIDENCE - The Friars and Miami Hurricanes are getting set to tip off their NIT game at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.
There is no confirmation but word is that the winner of tonight's game will travel to Florida for a game on Friday, assuming that the Gators handle Jacksonville at home tonight. Official word on the matchup won't come until after both games are completed tonight.
PC is expecting a small but hearty crowd. The Friars sold about 4,500 tickets and preparations are in place here at the building to handle what could be a strong walk-up crowd. We'll see.
