Game 100 at the Ryan Center was an excellent one for the URI basketball team. The Rams swept past Akron, 79-50, today and looked good doing it. Delroy James led the way, coming off the bench to score 16 points, with nine rebounds and five assists. James also spearheaded full court pressure that gave the Zips fits and led to numerous turnovers and easy hoops for Rhody. James had three of URI's 10 steals. Keith Cothran added 16 points and JImmy Baron 14 for URI, now 10-4. |
