Here's what Kevin said about the magnitude of the game:
"I just spoke with Jim Calhoun this morning. As he said, Providence has played itself into a big game, which is his way of complimenting the Friars, in that they obviously had some missteps early in the season, but they've gotten beyond that and they're playing as well as anyone in the Big East. At 6-2 they're only one game out of first place. Connecticut is 8-1 and right there, and if Connecticut wins the game, they're probably number one in the country. So they have a lot to play for, as do the Friars."
