NEWARK, NJ - The Friars have held on and beaten Seton Hall in overtime, 98-93.
This is the type of game that this particular group of Friars have lost in the last few seasons. PC led most of the first half, lost the lead in the second and nearly lost in the final minute. However, a Geoff McDermott free throw with 10.5 seconds left forced overtime.
In the extra session, the Friars trailed by one with 2:15 left but battled back and gritted out a big win.

critical victory, maybe the most important of the season. It is obvious that PC was playing against 3 outstanding players that suffered from a weak bench. The 8 man rotation won the game. Much better foul shooting, although, SH got too many shots at the basket. SH getting in foul trouble really helped. Super ROAD victory
