Kevin discusses the trouble signs in Wednesday night's PC-Jackson State game, similarities between PC and BC, Tyrese Rice's importance to the Eagles offense, and the development of Rhode Island product Rakim Sanders.
Here's an excerpt from Kevin's comments about the Boston College game:
"I think it's a very big game for both teams. I think it's probably a stretch to think that either team can be an NCAA Tournament team, but certainly they have the potential to be bubble teams or NIT teams, and a game like this could separate the two of them a few months down the line. I think both teams have had solid wins, not great wins, and going forward they have to really be ready for the start of league play. Boston College's first league game is at North Carolina, who's number-one ranked in the country. We're only a week, 10 days away from that, and obviously getting ready is really important. The other flip side is that Boston College and Providence have had great games for years, especially the last three or four years. Providence has won two in a row in this series, but last year's game was an overtime shootout in Boston. I expect a very similarly tight game on Saturday."
