PROVIDENCE - The Friars shook off yet another poor start and then overwhelmed St. John's, 75-54, today at the Dunk. Hats off to the 3,037 fans who braved the snowstorm and wind to attend the game.
Randall Hanke played his best game of the seaosn and led the Friars with 17 points. Marshon Brooks added 15 and Sharaud Curry was the best guard on the floor with 16 points and 8 assists.
PC (9-4) will host DePaul on Saturday and shoot for a 2-0 start in Big East play.
