Arizona State has run away from Charlotte, 84-56, in the 76 Classic. The Sun Devils now await the winner of the Providence-Baylor game which tips off in about 10 minutes.
ASU has one strong post player in Jeff Pendergraph (23 points, 10 rebounds) and a stud scorer in James Harden. He actually struggled (15 points but 2-of-5 FG, 11 free throws) and ASU still won going away.
We'll have more on PC's opponent in Round Two after the game.
