Brown's Agel names two assistants, including recent UVM player

Brown University head basketball coach Jesse Agel has named Lamar Barrett and Kyle Cieplicki to his coaching staff, according to a university news release.

Barrett is director of Hoop Group Elite, the nation's largest high-school exposure basketbal camp, according to the release. He is a formmer assistant coach at Central Connecticut and New Haven, as well as a former high school coach in Maryland.

Cieplicki, meanwhile, is taking his first coaching job after wrapping up a four-year career as a player at the University of Vermont. He averaged 10.6 points per game for the Catamounts last season, and was a three-year captain of the team. His joins a Brown staff that features another former UVM standout, Pawtucket's TJ Sorrentine.
