Simmons Gone

Jeremy Simmons, a 6-7 forward at Tucker High in the Atlanta area, has committed to play next year at College of Charleston. Providence (and Tulane) were both chasing Simmons this spring. PC is also interested in Marshon Brooks, a guard and teammate of Simmons' at Tucker High.

PC is also known to be recruiting Alex Kellogg, a 6-8 forward from Columbus, Ohio. The Friars hope to sign Jamine `Greedy' Peterson when the spring signing period opens tomorrow. Tim Welsh will have one other available scholarship to shop with this spring.
