The University of Rhode Island basketball team is not letting go of first place in the Atlantic 10 without a fight.
The surprising Rams not only won again yesterday, they put on one of their best offenisve shows yet as they belted Charlotte, 86-69, at the Ryan Center. URI did not miss a field goal attempt in the first six minutes of the second half as it was on the way to turning a 39-35 lead at the break into a 59-40 advantage.
Jimmy Baron had three 3-point baskets in the run. He finished with 16 points, as did Will Daniels. Joe Mbang added 15, Lamonte Ulmer a career high 12 and Kahiem Seawright 11.
Rhode Island is now 10-3 in the Altantic 10, 17-10 overall.

Very Impressive, what a future this team has. Adding James next year along with Lucky, Jones, and hopefully one more post player recruit the future looks bright.
