Griffin is PC's New Coach

Allen Griffin, a former star point guard at Syracuse, is the newest member of Tim Welsh's coaching staff at Providence.
Griffin replaces Bill Courtney, who left in June to join the staff at Virginia. Griffin and long-time assistant Steve DeMeo will handle most of the Friars off-campus recruiting. Griffin will begin work this week as school begins at PC.
